Why use lip fillers to enlarge your lips?

Why use lip fillers to enlarge your lips?

It is commonly regarded that the lips and the eyes enhance your facial beauty. It is for this reason that lip augmentation also known as lip fillers are some of the most common treatments that are performed at Beauty Revival.

Why do our lips change as we age?

With age (and often habits, such as smoking) our lips loose volume, and create prominent labial folds. Rejuvenating the lips with hyaluronic acid based fillers is a favoured procedure as it is a temporary and reversible enhancement.

Sam,our facial aesthetic clinician at Beauty Revival, performs lip filler augmentation to boost lip volume, enhance the lip’s shape and smooth vertical lines. In experienced hands your lip augmentation can look very natural and appropriate for your facial structure. (nobody wants a trout pout!)

What’s the most crucial/best lip filler advice to always consider?

Always, always, always, research the clinician. Start with a little to begin with and see how you like it, don’t always go big especially if this is your first time.

Before your appointment, make sure you’re fully prepped – speak with the clinic to make sure you know what you’re allowed and not allowed to take before the treatment. If you trust your practitioner (which you ought to, otherwise don’t do the treatment with them!), then allow them to decide which filler is suitable for your desired goal – there are many choices out there, but we believe you should let the expert decide which one is right for you.

At Beauty Revival we only use premium grade fillers- there are hundreds on the market but the cheaper ones tend to be highly cross linked causing extreme swelling and sometimes even late onset nodules (lumps after a month or two)

You should always have a thorough consultation before your treatment, and know the risks associated. These should be explained to you before any treatment but also how your clinician will deal with any problems should they arise during treatment Is your clinician medically trained ? Could they dissolve the filler should a vascular occlusion occur? Stay safe! Cheaper isn't always a good deal when your face is at stake.
